General Practitioner (GP)

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Our clinic is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all stages of life.

About the Role

As a primary care doctor, the first point of contact for broad health concerns, offering comprehensive, ongoing care for all ages by diagnosing and treating diverse physical and mental conditions, managing chronic illnesses, providing preventative advice, coordinating with specialists, and acting as a health advocate for individuals and communities, focusing on the whole person within their life context.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and examinations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide preventative care, health education, and screening services
• Refer patients to specialists when required
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with RACGP and AHPRA standards

Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (or working towards it)
• Valid Medicare provider number (or eligibility)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
