Registered Nurse (RN)

Introduction

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a general practice or community health setting.

About the Role

To provide holistic patient care, managing chronic diseases, immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and patient education, acting as crucial links in primary care by supporting GPs, coordinating care, improving health outcomes, and handling administrative tasks like recalls and accreditation, ultimately ensuring comprehensive, patient-centred, and efficient community health services.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will work alongside General Practitioners and allied health professionals to provide a wide range of clinical and administrative support services, including:

• Assisting with chronic disease management and care planning
• Administering immunizations and wound care
• Performing ECGs, pathology collection, and vital sign monitoring
• Conducting health assessments and screening
• Supporting patient education and preventive health initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and clinical standards

Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (primary care experience preferred)
• Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safe, evidence-based practice
