We are looking for a well-presented, reliable, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. This front-desk role is essential to ensuring a positive first impression and providing professional support to clients, patients, and staff.
About the Role
This is the crucial first point of contact, acting as the welcoming face and administrative backbone, handling patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, processing payments, maintaining patient records, coordinating with staff, and ensuring a smooth workflow while upholding strict patient confidentiality and privacy laws, all to create a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
As a receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support, including:
- Welcoming and assisting visitors, clients, or patients
- Answering incoming calls and managing email enquiries
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Processing payments, invoices, and basic office bookkeeping
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
- Supporting daily office operations and administrative tasks
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Friendly and professional attitude with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
